Background
WHEN YOU ARRIVE in Cebu City by boat, the first thing you will notice is a conspicuous mountain range that is the backdrop of the metropolis. This protective range of mountains is called the Babag Mountain Range and is about 25 kilometers long from a north to south axis and about 4 kilometers at its widest. Its highest peak is called Mount Babag where it rises for about 752 meters above sea level and is Cebu City’s highest point as well. “Babag” is a Cebuano word for “obstruct”.
The Journey
Reymar Jusay, one was the one who organized the trek. We decided to do day-trekking last August 3, 2013. We were supposed to do the trekking at Budlaan to Sirao Peak, yet due to the heavy rain which caused our plan risky, we decided to go to Mt. Babag instead.
With me was Selah Labay, Wil Del Prado, Eljus, Noel Alfanta, Reymar Jusay (the organizer), Genenis Sumaylo (the guide).

RCPI Tower Area
Approximately 200 Meters away from the Napu School which is our starting point
RCPI Tower Area (this is our goal)
The trek just began (gikapoi daun :P)
After 2 Hours Walking (Ang Gatorade..ipagawas :D)
Start of the Challenge...we're halfway there!!!! A-J-A
Our boys, knot tying while Selah, braiding my hair...HAHAHAHA!!!
Finally we're here! I never thought I could walk this far...Thank you Lord!!!
6:00PM and the rain already started to fall..HEAVILY!
But the battle is not yet over. We still have to walk approximately 1 and 2 Hours before we get to Lantaw where we could ride Habal2x going down to JY. Sad to say, I wasn't able to upload the "struggle" pix as the wifi went dead :|.
Yeeeey!!! We're finally here at Lantaw!!! We're all wet as we were walking in the rain "LITERALLY" until we got here. :)
That journey was sooo fulfilling. Aside reminded of how great our God is through His great creatures I witnessed during the trek, I was also reminded of how lucky I am through the people I met on the trail.
I am looking forward to pursue our Trek at Budlaan to Sirao. Sooo excited! :D
